The onboard hardware is securely mounted in each truck in a tamper-proof enclosure. Safety, functionality, and ergonomics are all integrated into the basic design.
Onboard Computers
Approved handheld computers are available in various brands and configurations. All approved handheld devices offer wireless portability, signature capture, barcode scanning, RFID/AEI tag reading, turn-by-turn directions, and remote meter shutdown when coupled with the SMARTruck system.
Regardless of the route you choose, the application itself is intuitive and user friendly. Within minutes, operators will quickly learn to navigate through the brightly colored touchscreen to effectively master this powerful fleet management system.
SMARTruck Printers
The standard Thermal Printer included in the SMARTruck System accommodates Signature Captures and offers a load-friendly process that allows the user to change paper in just seconds.
Belt-mounted printers, document scanners and other custom features may also be integrated into your system based on your needs.
In-Cab Document Scanner
Gain the ultimate in timely and accurate invoicing with the SMARTruck in-cab document scanner. Once a BOL is scanned it is wirelessly sent to your back office application and is ready for processing almost instantly. You'll receive BOL paperwork in the office in real-time, eliminate lost BOL paperwork, digitally store historical BOL paperwork, reduce admin manual entry, and create a paperless billing process.
