Onboard Hardware
All the components of the SMARTruckTM System hardware are logically arranged on a single mounting plate and are bolted onto the back wall of your truck’s cab. Safety, functionality and ergonomics are all integrated into the basic design. Custom configurations are also available based on your individual requirements.
SMARTruck Black Box
The central communication hub of the system is the SMARTruck Black Box. Time-tested and robust enough to operate in the toughest environments, it provides a constant stream of real-time information to both driver and dispatcher. GPS reporting, weather information, on-the-fly transaction reporting, store-and-forward functionality and live onboard inventory tracking are just a few of the system highlights.
Onboard Computers
SMARTLogix offers a computer hardware solution for every fuel distribution need. Approved handheld computers are available in various brands and configurations. Handhelds are generally used for tank wagon operations or in environments where fleet fueling is required.
All approved handheld devices offer portability, signature capture and barcode scanning when coupled with the SMARTruck System. You may also opt to equip your transport vehicles or ocean-going vessels with a dash-mounted touch-screen computer. Regardless of the route you choose, the application itself is intuitive and user friendly. Within minutes, operators will quickly learn to navigate through the brightly colored screens to effectively master this powerful tool.
SMARTruck Printers
The standard Thermal Printer included in the SMARTruck System accommodates Signature Captures and offers a load-friendly process that allows the user to change paper in just seconds.
Belt-mounted printers, document scanners and other custom features may also be integrated into your system based on your needs.
SMARTruck Scanners
The SMARTruck Scanner provides unmatched speed and reliability in capturing and transmitting Bill Of Lading paperwork back to the office to be reconciled against your deliveries. No more waiting for the drivers to fax, mail, or bring back the Bill Of Ladings from that day. Matching the hand-recorded BOL from the driver to the BOL image provides accuracy unmatched in the industry today.
